Feeling "off" is one of the most misunderstood signals the body sends.
Lower energy. Foggy thinking. Digestive changes. A general sense that things aren't quite working the way they used to. It's easy to interpret those signals as failure — as something to fix or push through.
But here's a more useful way to look at it: Feeling off is feedback.
Your body is constantly adapting to stress, sleep changes, emotions, routines, and the season you're in. When something feels different, it's not a judgment — it's information.
Fatigue often signals overload. Digestive discomfort can reflect stress or rhythm changes. Brain fog may be the brain asking for support, not effort.
When we respond to these signals with pressure, stricter rules, or more willpower, symptoms often get louder. Not because you're doing anything wrong — but because your body is trying to protect itself.
A gentler, more effective response starts with curiosity: Those questions build clarity. And clarity leads to better decisions than guilt ever will.
Your body isn't broken. It's adaptive. And when you listen, it usually tells you exactly what it needs.
