Heroes of Newerth Free to Play Weekend!

Hi Everyone,

 

Heroes of Newerth will be FREE TO PLAY this weekend for anyone who had a beta account! Starting Friday at noon EST and ending Sunday at 11:59 PM EST, all beta accounts will be reactivated and players can login with their old accounts and enjoy HoN once again. For those of you who can't remember your password, you can retrieve it by visiting http://www.heroesofnewerth.com/cs.php. If you forgot your nickname, you can have it sent to you by clicking the "Lost Login Info?" button at the sign-in screen in the newest version of the HoN client.

Come back and try out all the improvements and changes we've made since launch!  We will be releasing one of our biggest patches to date this Friday, and we want you to come experience it.  Here's a sneak peek at what you will see in this patch:

·  Report A Player to ensure quality games for our players

·  Meet the Gladiator, our newest hero with a close relation to a certain DotA pirate

·  Rampage and Gauntlet will be updated with some new and exciting skills

·  Our newest item, the Blood Chalice, will also be added this Friday

HoN Update - 2 New Heroes Plus

Hey Everyone,

I wanted to give you guys a status report on Heroes of Newerth.  It has been almost 4 weeks since we went retail and we've seen steady growth and consistent addition of players (and it shows no signs of slowing down).  At S2 Games things haven't slowed down either.  We've released a few patches, one of which contained a new hero.  You'll instantly recognize Bubbles and his ability to shell toss, teleport, silence, and crowd control team fights!  If you haven't had a chance to play him, you are missing out.  We currently have a test patch out with new features, as well as another immediately recognized hero, Tundra.  He is a Legion strength hero who has a couple of pets that help him gain vision and slow enemies.  This hero will be fully released by week's end!

With 2 new heroes that is just the beginning as we continue to bring all your favorite heroes to the game, ARGGG matey. *hint hint*

One last hint of a new feature we're putting the polishing touches on is a "Report A Player" function in game.  We have set up a system of rules for conduct and will strictly enforce those rules through the community policing itself.  We will mercilessly clean up the behavior of our community.  The trend of griefing and abusing players will stop through player reports, review of game logs and replays, and suspensions and bans for inappropriate behavior.
