DYA Update | DYA Finals | New Hero | CAL Finals | Tournaments! | Contests | Design Update Congratulations to Marmoset on his masterfully designed hero.  His hero, Bombardier, exploded onto the scene last week and has made his mark in Newerth.  If you haven't tried out Dream yet, now is your chance!  Design the hero you've always wanted at http://dream.heroesofnewerth.com and you too could soon be playing your hero in HoN!  Digital Youth Award Update Team KDe (Germany), Team LOADED (USA), and Team xTu (Malaysia) just returned from China!  The teams spent four days experiencing the Chinese culture and interacting with their competition from across the globe.The group had the experience of visiting the World Expo Shanghai on the record-breaking attendance day for all World Expo’s. View All The Pictures  Digital Youth Award Finals Quickly Approach We are very excited to announce that the Digital Youth Award gaming finals are being moved from the Dreamhack Winter event to the Singapore GameFest event. The DYA finals at Singapore GameFEST will be held during the same period as Dreamhack Winter, November 25-28. Prizing for the DYA finals has been increased courtesy of The CPL, SCOGA, and the Singapore Government.  The six qualified teams from Germany, USA, Malaysia, China, Singapore, and Sweden, as well as two locally selected teams, will compete for a total prize pool of $20,000.  Good luck to participating teams KDe, LOADED, xTu, KungFu, Impunity, and TSoG. View The New Hero Concept Art  Team ICE vs Dotally Rad in the CAL Finals With an all-expenses paid trip to Dreamhack Winter on the line, the pressure was on as Team ICE faced off against Dotally Rad for the 1st place prize in the CAL Grand Finals. If you missed these 2 action packed matches be sure to check out the action on Honcast for both games here and here.  Tournaments, Tournaments, Tournaments...! The HoN Dreamhack Winter tournament will now be a BYOC tournament with an increased prize pool of $10,000 USD!  That’s not the only good news.  The tournament will be open to everyone in attendance.  Trial keys, for 10 free matches, will be given to everyone with a ticket to the event.  The increased prize pool is thanks to SteelSeries, who will be rolling out the first edition Heroes of Newerth mousepad at the event! Pick up yours at the Dreamhack store. Dreamhack Winter takes place November 25-28 in Jonkoping, Sweden.  HoN Halloween Contests With Halloween this weekend, we have a real treat for you! We are giving away prizes for the best HoN Hero Costumes and HoN-Themed Pumpkin Carvings. All you have to do is take a picture of you dressed up as the hero of your choice or of your HoN-ified carved pumpkin, then post it in the appropriate thread on the forums.
