We look to the past for remarkable people who inspire us to persist in our values, and for traditions that guide us and give us strength—like they have for so many of our ancestors. We look around ourselves in the present for people who hold onto established moral principles, like kindness, honesty, perseverance, loyalty, and courtesy.    Through these examples, we hope to show you the capability for goodness that still exists in the hearts of men and women just like you. But we also realize that a sound mind resides in a sound body.
