Their eyes are looking to you this Sunday

Dear Ministry Friends, My own kids asked me this week if we're in World War 3. Whether that explosion on TV was near our house. Whether grandma was safe on her airplane. And it's breaking my heart. I'm guessing the kids in your class are carrying the same questions — even if they don't have the words yet. The fidgeting, the quietness, the acting out — kids feel everything. And that's exactly why God put you in that room on Sunday morning. You are standing in the gap between faith and fear for those kids. That's holy ground. You know that moment when you look out at your class and those innocent eyes are just looking at you — looking to you to hold the world together? It's heavy. I feel it too. I love these kids and I want them to feel safe and happy in God's good world. But this world is fallen and they live with that. So my only answer — the only real answer I've ever found — is to point them to Jesus. Jesus isn't just for sunny days. He's there when the world feels dark. That's actually when the Gospel matters most. I spent time this morning praying for you and the kids you serve. I feel so honored to support you in this critical moment. What you do on Sunday morning is not small. It is the work. Before I close — I want to ask you to pray with me. We have many friends in our ministry family serving in churches and missions around the world who are not watching this conflict from across the ocean. They are in it. The fear is not vague for them. It's outside their door. Please lift them up this week. God knows every name and every need. Stop looking around for answers to what your kids are going through. God called you to that classroom.
