After 20 years of collecting Audrey books, these are the five I return to 🖤
| | | Earlier this week, we learned that Lily Collins has been cast as Audrey Hepburn in an upcoming movie adaptation of Sam Wasson's Fifth Avenue, 5 A. M.: Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany's, and the Dawn of the Modern Woman. I have a feeling that this movie is going to be very big, and I hope there will be an Audrey renaissance in pop culture. Like many women, I was deeply obsessed with Audrey Hepburn as a teen. During a very difficult time in my life, I clung to her as a symbol of grace, strength, and—exactly as Wasson's subtitle says—modern womanhood. So, over 20 years ago, I began building my collection of Audrey Hepburn books. At this point, I own most (if not all) of the books that have been published about her. If you, too, want to start learning about everyone's favorite gamine, read on to see my top five picks.
