Not only is the stock market going through some major turbulence, BUT we're going to see a crazy fight to the finish to determine whether or not the Government is going to be shut down.

✈️ AIR FORCE ONE: President Trump addressed reporters aboard Air Force One, reaffirming his commitment to strong tariffs, border security, and peace negotiations in Ukraine. He was also asked about a potential government shutdown. Trump: "It could happen. I mean, the Democrats want that. They want to destroy the country. So, I can't tell you, but it could happen. It shouldn't have happened, and it probably won't. I think the CR is going to get passed. We'll see. But it could happen. You never know."

💵 TRADE: The America First trade policies are bringing manufacturing jobs back as major global companies rethink their production strategies to avoid tariffs. For example, Honda has decided to produce its next-generation Civic hybrid in the U.S. state of Indiana, instead of Mexico, to avoid potential tariffs on one of its top-selling car models, three people familiar with the matter told Reuters in March. Luxury brand, LVMH, is "seriously considering" bulking up its production capacities in the U.S., CEO Bernard Arnault said on Jan. 28.. As tariffs reshape global supply chains, Trump's leadership is once again proving that prioritizing American workers strengthens the economy. This is just the beginning of the manufacturing resurgence that will define America's Golden Age.

🇺🇸 HOSTAGES: President Trump marked U.S. Hostage and Wrongful Detainee Day by reaffirming his commitment to bringing home Americans unjustly held abroad. He highlighted his administration's success in securing the release of 13 Americans, including those held in Venezuela, Afghanistan, Belarus, Russia, and Gaza. "My Administration is proudly taking decisive action to bring Americans back home where they belong", he said. He emphasized the importance of peace through strength and declared that the U.S. will not tolerate unlawful detentions of its citizens. In honor of the day, the Hostage and Wrongful Detainee flag was raised at the White House as a symbol of the nation's commitment to those still held captive.

🌟 GOLDEN AGE: The Trump administration took to the airwaves to highlight key achievements just seven weeks into his second term, declaring that the Golden Age of America is here. Trump emphasized his commitment to reciprocal tariffs, protecting Social Security and Medicare, and resurrecting American shipbuilding, while calling out Democrats' radical policies and Ukraine's lack of gratitude. "He took money out of this country, under Biden, like candy from a baby … I just don't think he's grateful", he said. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem touted record-low illegal border crossings and the deportation of 700 gang members in one month, stressing that Biden ignored federal immigration laws.

In a significant legal decision, a federal judge ruled that DOGE must comply with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), rejecting the Trump administration's claim of exemption. This means DOGE is now required to release internal documents, including emails and memos, ensuring "transparency" in its operations.

Judge Christopher Cooper emphasized that DOGE wields substantial independent authority, making it subject to FOIA. He noted that the agency's significant power to reshape or eliminate federal programs necessitates public oversight. The judge also highlighted DOGE's "unusual secrecy," citing reports of its use of external servers and encrypted communication methods, which further justifies the need for transparency.

🇺🇦 Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently sent a letter to U.S. President Donald Trump expressing regret over their heated exchange at the Oval Office. This apology precedes critical peace talks between U.S. and Ukrainian officials in Saudi Arabia, aiming to mend strained relations and address the ongoing conflict with Russia.

✊🏿 Washington, D.C., has begun dismantling the Black Lives Matter Plaza near the White House, a mural created in 2020 following the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. The removal comes after a bill threatened to withhold city funding unless the mural was taken down and the plaza renamed "Liberty Plaza." Mayor Muriel Bowser announced that the site would be part of the America 250 mural project, inviting students and artists to create new murals across all eight wards.

🔒 Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has revoked security clearances for several former officials, including Antony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Andrew Weissmann, New York Attorney General Letitia James, and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. This action follows President Trump's directive targeting individuals involved in investigations or legal actions against him, as well as those who signed a 2020 letter labeling Hunter Biden's laptop as "Russian disinformation."

🍓 HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has directed the FDA to explore eliminating the self-affirmed GRAS pathway, which allows companies to introduce food ingredients without FDA notification. The move aims to increase transparency and strengthen oversight of substances considered "Generally Recognized as Safe" (GRAS). Kennedy argued that closing this loophole will help ensure food safety and "Make America Healthy Again."
