Okay, don't laugh (or do, laughter is the best medicine, right? 😄 ), but today we're diving into a topic that's a bit on the cheeky side – farts. Yep, we're going there!

Have you ever wondered why some farts feel warmer than others? It's a curious thing 🤔 , and believe it or not, there's a simple explanation.

  • Speed : Think about it like a breeze 🍃 . A quick fart (excuse my bluntness) comes out fast, and you barely feel it. But a slower one has more time to heat up the area, so you really notice the warmth.
  • Composition: Farts are made up of different gases, and some of them are warmer than others. It's all down to what you've eaten and how your body's digesting it.
  • Moisture : This might be a tad gross, but stick with me. A more moist environment (thanks, sweat glands 💦 ) can make a fart feel warmer. Yep, I just went there.

But hey, while we're on the topic of digestion and all things gut-related, I've got to tell you about postbiotics and how they help with all things bathroom 🚽 and gut related … not just toot troubles :-) Since this email is already long, the details are in this video and here's a super short overview:

So, what are postbiotics? In simple terms, they are by-products of probiotic bacteria 🦠 . When the good bacteria in your gut break down and digest food, they produce these substances that can have a positive effect on your health. Think of them as the superheroes of gut health, fighting off bad bacteria and keeping your digestive system in tip-top shape.

But it's not just about fighting the bad guys. Postbiotics also play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of your gut lining, ensuring that everything stays in its rightful place and doesn't leak into other parts of your body. This is super important for preventing inflammation and keeping your immune system strong 💪 .

And the benefits don't stop there. Postbiotics have also been shown to help with digestion, boost the absorption of essential nutrients, and even improve mood and mental health. Yes, you heard that right - what happens in your gut doesn't stay in your gut! 🧠

Now, you might be wondering how you can get more of these fantastic postbiotics into your life. The good news is, it's not that hard. Eating a balanced diet rich in fiber, fermented foods, and probiotics can help increase the production of postbiotics in your gut. And for an extra boost, there are also postbiotic supplements available… and I've got some freebies of them for you here 🎁 >>

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken drumsticks, about 3.5 oz each, skinned

  • 1 tablespoon parsley, fresh and chopped
    SAUCE

  • 1 shallot, finely chopped

  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste, blended with 2/3 cup water

  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions
  1. To make the sauce, place the shallot, garlic, tomato paste mixture, red wine vinegar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a screw top jar, cover with the lid, and shake vigorously until well blended.

  2. Rinse the chicken drumsticks and pat dry with paper towels.

  3. Place the drumsticks in a large oven proof dish, pour over the sauce, and let stand for at least 2 hours, in the refrigerator, occasionally spooning the sauce over the chicken.

  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F/190°C.

  5. Cook the chicken drumsticks in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked.

  6. Spoon the sauce over the chicken or turn the chicken over during cooking.
