I'll admit something I didn't expect to say…
You probably shouldn't trust AI as your trainer.
Now don't get me wrong, it's impressive. You can ask it for a workout and get a full plan in seconds. Exercises, sets, reps… all laid out clean and organized.
But that's exactly the issue.
It looks good on paper.
It doesn't actually coach.
What I've noticed is this…
AI tends to agree with you. It gives you answers based on how you ask the question. Ask it one way, you'll get one plan. Ask it a slightly different way tomorrow, you might get something completely different.
There's no consistency. No real understanding of your body. No context.
And it definitely doesn't know what to do when things aren't perfect.
Like when:
• Your knee starts bothering you halfway through a workout
• Your shoulder doesn't feel right on pressing movements
• You're low on energy but still trying to stay consistent
• You've been "doing everything right" but not seeing progress
That's where real coaching matters.
Not perfect programming. Not fancy exercises.
Just simple, effective training that adjusts to you… in real time.
That's how I've always approached it. You don't need more complexity. You need something that actually works with your body and your life.
I'm actually curious....
Have you tried using AI for workouts yet? Hit reply and let me know what it gave you.
Quick heads up…
If you've been thinking about starting a program or getting back on track, hold off a couple days.
I've got something better for you this weekend.
I'll send you the details Friday.
Move Well. Look Well. Live Well.
