The 5-minute morning routine that keeps me on track

Because let's be honest — how your day starts often decides how it goes.


If your morning feels chaotic, rushed, or you're already playing catch-up… it's a lot harder to make intentional food choices or stick with any kind of healthy plan.


But here's the good news:


You don't need an elaborate ritual, a color-coded planner, or an hour of yoga to feel in control.

Here's a simple keto-friendly morning routine that helps me stay focused, energized, and on track — even on busy days:


The 5-Minute Keto Morning Reset


1. Hydrate first (1 min)

Before coffee, drink a big glass of water. Bonus: add a pinch of salt or squeeze of lemon to replenish electrolytes.


2. Breathe and reset your body (1 min)
Stand up tall, take 3 deep breaths, and do a few gentle stretches. This signals your body it's time to go — not just react.


3. Choose your "anchor meal" (2 min)
Whether you do breakfast, intermittent fasting, or something in between — decide now what your first intentional meal or snack will be. That one choice often prevents 10 decisions (and regrets) later.


4. Ask this 1-question check-in: (1 min)
"What's one thing I can do today that future me will thank me for?"


Could be food-related, could be mindset. Either way — that's your compass.


You can scribble this down, save it in your phone, or just remember the rhythm:


Water. Breathe. Anchor. Ask.


Five minutes. Total game-changer.
